In this week's interview on the Future of Accounting podcast, I chat with former forensic accountant turned professor and documentarian, Dr. Kelly Richmond Pope.
Dr. Pope has a doctorate in accounting and is a former Senior Associate for KPMG. Currently, she teaches forensic accounting at DePaul University and is an award-winning documentarian. Her film, All the Queen's Horses, covers a fraud case in Illinois where a city employee stole $53 million from the town over a period of twenty years.
The film has been shown all across the country and recently won the HBO documentary award at the Martha Vineyard African-American film festival.
In this episode, Dr. Pope will share her career journey and the steps you need to take to become a successful forensic accountant.
